What to expect when you come to the Mesquite Championship Rodeo

At 6:30 pm the doors open

Families with children can enjoy pony rides, petting zoo, bull photos, and Wild Bill’s western store
and a Sonny Bryan's BBQ pavilion.

At 8:00 pm the action starts
We always start the rodeo with the National Anthem and a traditional Grand Entry parade of flags, contestants and officials that links Mesquite with rodeos of the past.

The action goes non-stop until 10:00 pm
We’ve got all the rodeo events you’ve come to expect at a championship rodeo: Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Cowgirl Barrel Racing, Tie-Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Chuckwagon
Races, Cowboy Poker, and Team Roping.

For the kids in attendance there is the Kids Calf Scramble and Kids Mutton Bustin'.

TV monitors around the arena provide slow motion replays of all the action.
